A quick reminder — export a backup before clearing your browser's data or moving to a new device, since nothing here is backed up automatically.
Your studio is stored only in this browser's local storage — not in the cloud, not synced. That means clearing your browser's history/site data, switching browsers, reinstalling, or using a private/incognito window can erase it for good. Export a backup regularly, and definitely before any of those.
Merge in a backup adds a backup's canvases and stash into what you already have — nothing is deleted.
Replace from backup wipes your current studio and swaps in the backup file instead. Double-check you've exported anything recent first — this can't be undone.
Reloading the demo studio or clearing everything (further down this page) also replaces what's currently saved, so export first if you want to keep it.

Canvases are your projects. Each one tracks its drill count, the canvas size and kit type, the shop it's from, tags, and the DMC numbers it calls for. Add one from Canvases → New canvas, or the ＋ on any lane.
Log drills from the Studio tab — pick a canvas and tap your quick-log buttons, or type a custom count. Every logged day builds your drill-a-day streak and sharpens the Finish Line date.
Drills holds your whole stash by DMC number. On any canvas, Drill Match splits the canvas's colours into what you own and what you still need, and builds a copy-ready shopping list.
Shelved is for canvases you've set aside — kept for the record, out of your active count. Queue is kitted-up canvases waiting their turn.
Your data is saved in this browser. Use Export backup before clearing your browser or switching devices.
Drill — the small resin "diamond" pressed onto a printed dot to fill a canvas, one colour code at a time.
Full drill vs. partial drill — a full-drill canvas is covered edge to edge in resin gems; a partial-drill canvas leaves some of the printed design unbuilt for contrast or shading.
Round vs. square drill — round drills are faster and more forgiving with small gaps; square drills tile edge-to-edge for a smoother, gap-free finish but take a steadier hand.
AB (Aurora Borealis) — a drill with an iridescent, colour-shifting finish used as an accent alongside the regular matte drills.
Collection — a themed multi-canvas set (an advent calendar, a four-seasons trio) released or completed as numbered parts.
Shelved — a canvas set aside indefinitely. Kept for the record, but off your active count. Some painters call this pile their "stash of shame" — no judgment here.
DMC number — the standard reference code most drill colours are matched to (e.g. DMC 310 is black), so any kit and any shop mean the same shade.
